As
senior counsel to the
firm, Dan Beaver brings over 20 years of experience in real estate
practice,
including nine years heading his own firm, The Law Offices
of Daniel P. Beaver. Dan was admitted to the practice of law
in December,
1986 after receiving his J.D. degree at Golden Gate University School
of
Law. Before that, Dan obtained his B.A. degree from U.C.L.A.
in 1981,
where he majored in Political Science.
Dan’s
practice incorporates a
wide range of real estate litigation and transactional work, with
matters
involving residential and commercial landlords, homeowners’
associations,
principals and agents to real estate transactions, adjoining
landowners, title,
escrow, lending, and co-ownership issues, among others. Prior
to opening
his own practice in 1999, Dan was with the Law Offices
of Michael B. Allen, again with an emphasis on real estate
litigation.
Before that, Dan was an associate with Alborg & Dictor, a
predecessor to Alborg, Veiluva & Epstein, from
1987 to 1993, practicing with an emphasis in escrow and title defense
matters.
Dan
is admitted to practice
in the California
state courts, as well as the United States District Court, Northern and
Eastern
Districts. He is a member of the Contra Costa County Bar
Association
(Real Estate Law Section), and Real Estate Law and Litigation Sections
of the
State Bar. Dan is actively involved in his community through
youth groups
as a coach and volunteer.
Dan
was born in Burbank,
California,
on March 2, 1960. He resides in Moraga, California,
and is married with
two children.
